- Human-Machine Cooperation in Citizen Science
My current research focuses on machine-human integration to advance collective knowledge for scientific activities and solving social problems. The methods I focus on to bring together people, data and technology include citizen science, crowdsourcing, peer-to-peer exchange and citizen-generated data.
I am also interested in citizen-generated data and how they might actually serve the public good by contributing to policy making and the public sector.
My research has been funded by the Swedish Research Council, Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation, and NordForsk.
